Description

Henry Eichler (b. 1880 - d. 1955) was the son of Robert and Margaret Eichler. Robert Eichler was a soldier at Fort Whipple, Prescott, Arizona.

Henry was born May 18, 1880 at Fort Riley, Riley Kansas, where his father would have been stationed. Fort Riley remains an active United States Army installation located in north-central Kansas, situated along the Kansas River between Junction City and Manhattan.

In this photo, he is shown as a young child. The 1930 U.S. Census shows him as being single and renting a home on South Granite Street in Prescott, Arizona. His occupation was laborer and he worked at a lumber yard. He shared the home with his sister, Minnie Eichler Stuthman.

He died November 28, 1955. He was originally buried at Rolling Hills Cemetery in Prescott. On January 4, 1956 his body was exhumed and reburied at Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott.
