Frank E. Andrews (b.1858 - d.1933) was born on July 21, 1858 in Cumberland, Maine. He was the son of Samuel Andrews, born in Cumberland, Maine in 1810 and Lavinia (Huskins) Andrews, born in Androscoggin, Maine in 1812.
Frank married Madeline Archibald on June 17, 1892 in Prescott, Arizona. They divorced in 1822. His second marriage was to May B. Carter on April 5,1928 in Maricopa, Arizona.
Frank is listed in the U.S. Census (Arizona) from 1900-1930.
Frank owned mines, copper and silver, in the Prescott area of Arizona. He was a blacksmith in Prescott. He held several positions with the city of Prescott: policeman, Chief of Police, and Chair of Prescott Water Commission. He was the Grand Marshall of the Prescott Fourth of July parade in 1902.
Handwriting on photograph reads: "Frank E. Andrews, farrier for the army at the time Geronimo was captured. Came to Prescott about 1890 - defeated Jim Dodson for City Marshall. Operated a Blacksmith shop on Granite Street for many years".
Frank died on January 5, 1933. He was buried in Moutain View Cemetery in Prescott.
