Description

Louis "Lew"  Wagner (b.1893 - d.1976) was born on September 19, 1893 in Vista, California. His mother, surname Beasley, was born in England and his father, Joseph E. Wagner, was born in Canada.

Louis was registered for the WWI draft in 1917-1918.

He married to Jeannett V. Hogue on April 21, 1917 in Los Angeles, California and they had three sons.

Louis was employed as a painter by the Veterans Administration at the Whipple Hospital in Prescott, Arizona.

Handwriting on the photograph reads: "Utility Group, Left to right: Howard Bashaw,Chief Corp, John Ogilivie, Steam Fitter helper, Frank Henderson, Head Fitter, Harold Stewart, Plumber, Leo V. Keeney, Painter, Sal Sagey, Electrician, Lew Wagner, Foreman Painter, Claude Clymer, Chief Electrician, Fred Phillips took the picture. 1941."

Louis died on June 7, 1976 in Long Beach, California.
