Description

Pearl (Jackson) Ritter (b.1878 - d.1951) was born on May 12, 1878 in Skull Valley, Arizona. She was the daughter of Solomon Jackson, born in Illinois on August 1, 1833 and Louisa born in Indiana in 1837 (maiden name unknown).

Pearl married William Ritter on September 29, 1915 in Prescott, Arizona. William was a rancher. They lived in Kirkland, Arizona. Records show that Pearl purchased 120 acres of land in 1919. She was widowed in 1944. Her husband was buried in the Simmons section of the Arizona Pioneers Home Cemetery in Prescott.

Handwriting on photograph reads: "Mrs. Pearl Ritter, Redgr Forbes, Spice Holder, Bill Pike (Rose), Joe Carter, Sue Walcott, John Warren (Violet), Wm Satathite, Mattie Sorrells, Mis Grace Gillespie (Croose)".

Pearl died on July 23, 1951 in Phoenix, Arizona. She is buried at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery in Phoenix.
