Description

Levi (b.1850 - d.1928) was born in Howard County, Indiana on January 19, 1850. His parents were Levin Young and Mira (Lisher) Young, birthdates and birthplaces unknown.

He married Fannie Wheeler and they had two children: Fred Young and Jessie (Young) Stanton.

Fannie (Wheeler) Young (b.1856 - d.1833) was born on May 7, 1856 in Darlington, Indiana. She was the daughter of William Wheeler and Mary Andrews, birthdates and birthplaces unknown.

Handwriting on photograph reads: "Mr. and Mrs. Levi Young who homesteaded ranch on top of Mingus Mountain and lived there each summer till they proved up and got deed. Later owned old Carter ranch for a time (now Norman Fain ranch in Yaeger Canyon). Died in Phoenix abaout 1930. Son Fred killed in auto accident a few years earlier. Daughter, Mrs. Stanton, lives in Dewey."

Levi died on August 23, 1928 in Phoenix, Arizona. Fannie died on June 27, 1933 in Dewey, Arizona. Both are buried at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery in Phoenix.
