Clarence C. Jackson (b.1881 - d.1946) was born in Kirkland, Arizona on November 24,1881. His parents were Soloman Jackson, born in 1833 in Illinois, and Louisa Lynch, born in Illinois in 1838.
As a young man, Clarence clerked for the Bashford-Burmeister Company for a few years. He spent his entire life in the Kirkland, Arizona area as a rancher and cattleman.
He was a member of the Yavapai County cattle group and served as president of the Kirkland branch from 1921-1023. In 1932, he was the chairman of the meeting when the present Yavapai County Cattle Growers Association was formed and he served as its second president in 1934.
Clarence was a member of the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors since January 1, 1935. At the time of his death, he was serving his sixth term and had been chairman for four terms.
He was president of the Arizona Supervisors Association from July, 1943 to January 1, 1945 when he became president of the Arizona Good Roads Association, holding that office for one year. He was one of Yavapai County's most consistent boosters for better rural roads. Improvement in county highways stand as a monument to his efforts.
Clarence was a member of the Elks Lodge since March,1936 and a member of the Modern Woodsmen of the World since October, 1906.
Clarence married Mildred F. Sanders on April 9,1902. They had one son, Harold Clifford Jackson. Mildred died in 1916. His second marriage was to Zona Swan.
He was a well-known Frontier Days rodeo contestant in Prescott, Arizona.

Clarence died on May 28, 1946. He was buried in Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott.
