George Elliott Lovejoy (b.1851 - d.1936) was born on November 12, 1851 in Litchfield, Michigan. He was the son of Samuel Lovejoy, born in New York on January 19, 1812 and his second wife, Phoebe (Weaver) Lovejoy, born in New York in 1817. He was the brother of Myrtie Belle Lovejoy.
George married Julie Caniff and they had two children.
Handwriting on the photograph reads: "George Lovejoy".
George died on February 6, 1936 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was buried in Fairview Memorial Park in Alburquerque.
