Harrison Newton Ruffner (b.1834 - d.1926) was born on January 18, 1834 in Wyndotte County, Illinois. He was the son of Andrew Ruffner, born in Ohio in 1805 and Elisabeth Leeth, born in Ohio.
His wife was Katherine White (b.1836 - d.1918), born on September 2, 1836 in Bond County, Illinois.
Harrison was a farmer.
They had seven children. At least two of their children, George and Lester, relocated to Prescott, Arizona.
Harrison died on September 28, 1926. Katherine died on October 18, 1918. They are buried at Mason Union Cemetery in Mason, Illinois.
