The Toughnut Mine was a silver, copper, lead, and zinc mine located in Cochise county, Arizona at an elevation of 4,573 feet.
The commodities produced were silver, copper, lead and zinc. Exact production numbers are not known, however, the site was reported to have rendered several thousand tons of the aforementioned minerals in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s.
