This could possibly be William A. Clark but we cannot confirm it.
William A. Clark was born in Maine in 1840. He came to Tucson, Arizona in 1881 and was prominent in the mining industry for many years. He was quite wealthy at one time.
William died in the Arizona Pioneers' Home in Prescott, Arizona on September 20, 1918. He was survived by a daughter, Florence Clark. He is buried in Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott.
Handwriting on back of photograph reads: "William Clark".
After extensive research conducted by the Sharlot Hall Museum Research Center staff and volunteers, we cannot find any apparent connection between this individual and the Prescott and Yavapai County area.
