Description

Tuscumbia Mill, Big Bug Region, Bradshaw Mountain District, Yavapai County, Arizona Territory, ca. 1890.

The Tuscumbia Mine, and its' processing mill, was a silver and copper mine located in Yavapai county, Arizona at an elevation of 6,001 feet. It was in the Crown King area.

The native silver ore found at the Tuscumbia Mine, and other mines in the Bradshaw Mountains, was said to be very "high grade and equal to the ores of the Tonopah district of Nevada." A Mines Register article, Volume 13, 1917, described it as a "lode with silver ores," and "ore was coming from four adits (horizontal passages) to a depth of 300 feet."
