Description

Benjamin Franklin Glick (b. 1850 - d. 1942) was born in Virginia on November 16, 1850. His parents, Daniel Glick and Elizabeth Bowman, were both born in Virginia, dates unknown.

Benjamin, also known as Frank, lived in Arizona many years as documented by census and voting records. His occupation is listed as being a laborer in the 1830 census. He purchased land from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management on April 3, 1886. A Certicate of the Register of the Land Office at Prescott, Arizona (Patent Certificate Number 291) was deposited in the General Land Office on February 11, 1942 upon full receipt of payment for this land.

Frank became a resident at the Arizona Pioneers' Home in Prescott, Arizona in 1928. He was among 30 residents of the Pioneers' Home who attended a 20th Pioneers Reunion in Phoenix on April 9, 1941. More than 2200 pioneers gathered for the reunion.

He died in Wickenburg on June 4, 1942 and is buried in the Wickenburg Cemetery in Wickenburg, Arizona.
