Prescott photographer William H. Williscraft (bearded man in the right background) with a group of Apache Indians near Fort Grant, Arizona.

This type of photograph is a stereograph card, a photographic format, and many different types of photographic processes were used to create stereographs. Stereographs cards were viewed on a stereoscope and were popular from the 1850s until after the 1900s.
