J. R. Walls house located at 146 South Mount Vernon Street in Prescott, Arizona. Later the residence was owned by Alden B. "Al" Smith, founder of the Second Hand Man store, in the 1970s.
Dr. John R. Walls was a physician at Sisters of Mercy Hospital. He utilized this house at a clinic and sanitarium beginning in 1901, but closed it two years later owing to the illness of his wife.
