William Addison Tinsley (b.1854 - d. unknown) near Glasgow, Virginia. However, a California death index states he was born in 1845. He apparently was also known as Will or Tex. His parents names are unknown but reported in the census that they were born in New York.
William married Margaret Marie Wheeler on January 20, 1887 in Kansas. She was born on February 28, 1868 in Jefferson County, Illinois. She had seven siblings. William and Margaret had three children: Margaret, Laura Pauline, and Thelma Agnes.
Daughter Margaret Tinsley was born February 1, 1893 in Prescott, Arizona. She married Ralph Eugene King in Prescott on June 13, 1914.
Daughter Laura Pauline Tinsley (b. 1906 - d. 1997) was born September 28, 1906 in Camp Verde, Arizona. She married 3 times, first to Bazel A. Draper on July 30, 1925 in Delta, Utah, second to George W. Barton on June 1, 1943 and a third time to Herbert Storms. She died May 24, 1997 in Del Norte County, California.
Thelma Agnes Tinsley (b. 1903 - d. 1993) was born September 7, 1903 in Arizona. Thelma married Wesley C. Boothe December 14, 1923. They had one daughter and two sons. Thelma died on April 18, 1993 in Josephine County, Oregon and is buried in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Grants Pass, Oregon.
Handwriting on the back of photograph reads: “Taken in Phoenix, Arizona about 1907. Left to right: Mrs. Tinsley, her husband William A., Margaret Tinsley King (deceased). Front row: Laura Pauline Tinsley Storms, now of Crescent City, California and Thelma Agnes Tinsley Boothe, now of Grants Pass, Oregon. Received S.H. Museum 1959.”
