James & Lilly Lowry residence, 132 North Grove Avenue, Prescott, Arizona.

Lowry Residence at 132 North Grove Street in Prescott, Arizona. In this photo are James R. Lowry, Lilly Banta Lowry, James R. Lowry Jr., Malcolm Lowry, and Madge Banta.

James R, Lowry was Sheriff of Yavapai County in the early 1890s.  Later, as a deputy, he was killed in the line of duty during a "Mexican uprising" in Jerome.
