Moses Hazeltine Sherman residence, Prescott, Arizona.

Back of photo reads: "Moses H. Sherman and sister Lucy on the porch. House bought and improved by Peters and later by Elliott of the P.A.C.R.R."

Moses Sherman was a businessman, financier, and co-founder of Valley Bank of Arizona.  In Prescott, he played a major role in the forming of the town's school system, and was later appointed Superintendent of Public Instruction.  He later moved to Los Angeles, where he died in 1932.
