On the back of the photo is written; "Frank Rowe's birthplace, South McCormick Street, Prescott, Arizona".
Frank Rowe was probably Francis Alvord Rowe, who was born December 2, 1883 in Prescott, the son of Winthrop Allen (W.A.) Rowe, a prominent merchant, and Frances R. Rowe. According to a family genealogy, the elder Rowes apparently separated at some point, and young Frank moved to Oregon with his mother and never returned.
