Description

Writing on photo identifies this as the Colyer residence on Cortez Street.  It also identifies the building as the office of Dr. G. E. Goodfellow.

Dr. George E. Goodfellow practiced in Prescott in the latter 1870s before leaving for Tombstone.  A biography has been written of him, "Dr. Goodfellow--Physician to the Gunfighters, Scholar, and Bon Vivant" by Don Chaput (Westernlore Press; 1996).  The Arizona Miner newspaper notes on March 9, 1877, that Goodfellow's office was on Cortez Street.

The two men in the photo are identified only as Doc Smith and Bigelow.
