Mary Elizabeth (Rupert) Tobin (b. 1854 - d. 1907) was born May 27, 1854 in South Braintree, Massachusetts. She moved to Michigan as a teenager with her parents and there married James A. Tobin in 1874. They came to Prescott in 1879. One daughter died in San Francisco, January 24, 1880. Another daughter was alive at the time of Mary’s death and her sister, Flora E. (Rupert) Sutherland Page, was living in San Francisco at that time. Her husband was the superintendent for the George W. Curtis saw mill. She died November 13, 1907 in Prescott, Arizona. (Note: Rupert is spelled as Rubert in the Arizona Miner obituary).
