Description

Fred John Smith (b. 1865 - d. 1956) was born July 13, 1865 in Detroit, Michigan. His parents were John (born in England) and Anna (Reidal) Smith (born in Germany). He arrived in Prescott in 1881 and was the caretaker for the Derby Mine. He was a widower at the time of his death on September 27, 1956 in the Arizona Pioneers' Home in Prescott. He entered the Pioneers Home in 1949.
