Description

Lena Johnston (b. 1868 - d. unknown) was born in Sweden. She was the sister of Christine Johnston, who successfully owned and operated a boarding house, named "The Johnson House" in Prescott, Arizona. Lena also had a sister, Louisa.

Upon Christine's death in 1900, Lena came from San Francisco, California to Prescott to look after Christine's estate. Lena lived in California most of her life.

Handwriting on back of photograph reads: "Miss Lena Johnston, sister of Christine Johnston who ran Johnston rooming house for many years in Prescott."

Death and burial information for Lena is unknown.
