Poland was a mining town in the foothills of the Bradshaw Mountains. A post office was established in 1901 and was discontinued in 1913. At the height of the mining operation the population was 800. Poland was the terminus of the Poland branch of the Santa Fe, Prescott, and Phoenix railway, 35 miles east of Prescott.
