Sharlot Hall Museum Director Fred Veil (left) presents the 2018 Sharlot Hall Award to Christine Marin, PhD (far right). Since 1984, the Sharlot Hall Award has been given annually to a living Arizona woman who has made significant contributions to the understanding and awareness of Arizona and its history. Marin, a native of Globe, Arizona, received the award for her research in 20th century Mexican-American and Southwest history.
