Katherine "Katie" Harter (b.1882 - d.1978) was born on October 17, 1882 in Wisconsin. She was the daughter of John Joyce Harter, born in Wisconsin in 1850, and Mary Ann Brown Harter, born in Louisiana on September 4, 1856.
Katie, while living in Congress, Arizona, married John Charles Tovrea, also of Congress. The wedding took place on January 1, 1900 in Phoenix, Arizona.
Katie's second marriage was to Edward D. King on September 11, 1915 in Phoenix. Edward was involved with the railroad business.
Katherine was the mother of three sons.
Handwriting on back of photograph reads: 'To Mrs. Mulvenon, From Katie Harter Tovera King. She was the daughter of John and Mary Harter of Prescott and Phoenix."
Katie died on November 14, 1978 and was buried in Greenwood Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Phoenix.
