Cornelia "Nellie" (Woodsworth) Hinman was born approximately 1843 in Missouri. Nellie was the daughter of Henry Dearborn Woodsworth and Messalla A. Woodsworth. Her father was born in Vermont in 1814. Her mother was born in Kentucky in 1824. Her father was a lawyer, judge, and a Colonel with the Union army in Missouri.
She married Charles H. Hinman on May 20, 1863 in Jackson, Missouri. They had one son, Woodsworth Hinman.
Handwriting on back of photograph reads: "October 8, 1970. Mrs. C.H. Hinman, Mrs. Charles H. Hinman, Nellie Woodsworth."
Nellie lived in Missouri, Kansas, Texas and Denver.
Her husband, Charles, died in1902 and is buried at Fairmount Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
Cornelia died on May 28, 1918 and is also buried at Fairmount Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
