Description

Prescott High School was built in 1875 on Gurley Street and located across the street from the Washington School, which was built in 1903.

This photo shows the 8th, 9th, and 10th grades and school faculty.

Individuals pictured include the following (all left to right): First row - Walter Douna, Harold Elliott, Walter Maiser, Ed Tomlinson, Blass Travis, Raymond Belcher, Garland Connell, Harry Marshall, and Albert Creekmur.

Second row - Zona Ford, Catharine Hite, Virgie Hite, LaVerne DeMund, and Annie Myers, Meany Pratt, Hazel Thayer, Opal Creekmur, Shirley Wetmore, and Frank Derr.

Third row - Orpha Haisley, Bessie Barthel, Maude Marsh, Minnie Davis, Duke Lewis, Hedwig Peterson, Elise Ford, Marnie Davis, Alice McErnenie, Claire Cline, Ethel Shull, and Marion Carter.
