George "Georgie" Joshua Graves (b.1870-d.1924) was born in England in 1870. He was the son of George John Graves, born in England in1840, and Mary (Brockley) Graves, born in England in 1842.
George spent most of his life in Kansas. It appears that his parents immigrated there in 1870.
Handwriting on photograph reads: "Gertie and Georgie and _ Graves, Junction City, June 21, 1875. Gertie went as missionary to China in 189_"
George died on September 21, 1924 in Topeka, Kansas. He was buried there in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Gertrude "Gertie" Eliza (Graves) Thomson (b.1867 - d.1959) was born in Clapham, London, England on February 15, 1867.
Gertrude married Charles Thomson and they had two sons and a daughter. Their first son Ernest was born in China in 1899. Her daughter Margaret and son Karle were born in Junction City, Kansas.
Gertrude died on September 26, 1959 in Victoria, Canada. Location of burial unknown.

Unnamed son in photograph is William "Will" James Graves (b.1871 - d.1956) was born on May 28, 1871 in Junction City, Kansas. He married Sarrah "Sadie" Precott (Cowgill) in 1896. They had three sons and two daughters. William's occupation was in real estate.
William died on May 13, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois. He was buried in Mount Hope Cemetery in Topeka, Kansas.
