Daniel Hodges Stickney (b.1815 - d.1871) was born on May 11, 1815 in Duxbury, Massachusetts. He was the son of Samuel Stickney, born in New Hampshire in 1787, and Huldah (Hodges) Stickney born in Massachusetts in 1787.
Daniel married Isabell McVay on February 1, 1841 in Mobile, Alabama. They had three children.
By 1860, Daniel was living in Tucson in the Arizona Territory and working as a merchant. He was a House of Representative member of the 1st Arizona Territorial Legislature which opened on September 26, 1864 in Prescott, Arizona. In the 1870 U.S. Census, his occupation was as a clerk in a store.
Handwriting on photograph reads: "Stickney".
Daniel died on February 17, 1871 in Tucson, Arizona. He was buried there at Alameda-Stone Cemetery.
