Clarence Samuel King (d.1868 - d. 1947) was born in Kansas on November 13, 1868. His father, Samuel C. King, was born in England in 1840 and his mother, Sarah J. Sievers, was born in Ohio in 1835.
Clarence married Mary Rigg on July 24, 1898 in Downey, California.
He is listed on the US Census in Kansas in 1880 and 1890 and is on the US Census in Oregon and California after that.
Clarence was a prominent mining engineer in Arizona. He made his first visit to Arizona in 1893. Newspaper articles reported he visited sites in Arizona frequently for his mining business. The newspaper articles state that he was a resident of Prescott in the 1930s.

Clarence died on December 5, 1947 in Orange County, California.
